GUILDERLAND CENTER FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 15th day of June, 2020, the Board of Commissioners of the Guilderland Center Fire District approved a resolution which permits the sale of a 1996 Chevrolet K3500 Crew Cab Dually with approximately 12,300 miles, V8 Diesel, 6.5 Liter Engine, Automatic, 4WD, Electric Winch, Lettering to be Removed. The vehicle will be sold "as is" and will include lights.

Interested purchasers shall provide a proposed purchase price no later than the 20th day of July, 2020. Bids shall be submitted in writing, in a sealed envelope with words “ BIDS FOR 1996 TRUCK”  and shall be addressed to Debra L Sim, Secretary, at the following address: GUILDERLAND CENTER FIRE DISTRICT, P.O. Box 141, Guilderland Center, New York 12085.

Bids shall be opened on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 7: 00 p.m. at the fire station located at 30 School Road, Guilderland Center, New York. Arrangement to inspect the vehicle may be made by calling Bob Purzycki at 518-320-0528 or by sending an email to . The Guilderland Center Fire District reserves the right to reject any or all bids under $7,000.00 and to readvertise the vehicle if necessary.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Village of Altamont Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on July 21, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., to considered proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2020, entitled: “A Local Law to Require Emergency Knox Boxes for Commercial Buildings Within the Village of Altamont”. The local law would require that all commercial buildings located within the Village of Altamont having an Alarm System or an Automatic Sprinkler System must be equipped with a Knox Box with limited exceptions.
