NOTICE OF BOND RESOLUTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution published herewith has been adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Berne Fire District in the Town of Berne, Albany County, New York (the “Fire District”) on the 8th day of April, 2025. Such resolution was adopted subject to mandatory referendum and such resolution was duly approved at the referendum held by the Fire District on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if:
(1) (a) Such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Fire District is not authorized to expend money, or
(b) the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with,
and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the date of publication of this notice; or
(2) such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the Constitution of New York. SUMMARY OF RESOLUTION
The following is a summary of a resolution adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Fire District on April 8, 2025. Said resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of a serial bond or bonds and a bond anticipation note or notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of said serial bonds, in an amount not to exceed $410,000. The proceeds from the sale of the obligations authorized in said resolution shall be used for the specific purpose of financing the acquisition of a fire truck. The maximum estimated cost of the fire truck is not to exceed $600,000. The plan of financing is to apply an amount not to exceed $190,000 from the Fire District’s Engine Reserve Fund to pay a portion of the acquisition cost. The period of probable usefulness for said purpose is twenty (20) years. A copy of the resolution summarized herein is available for public inspection during normal business hours at Berne Fire District located in the Town of Berne, New York.

LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Voorheesville Board of Trustees adopted a resolution authorizing a Public Hearing for the expenditure of up to $30,650.00 in 2025-26 Fiscal year from the Village’s Road Repair Reserve Fund for the repairs of the Village owned infrastructure. Such purchases are necessary because of aging roads.
The public hearing will be held June 12, 2025, at 6:45 pm at Village Hall, 29 Voorheesville Ave, Voorheesville, NY.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Commission of the Village of Voorheesville will hold a Public Hearing on an Application from Joshua Marks (31 Scotch Pine Dr) for a Site Plan Review for the expansion of a 6-foot, privacy fence to the front yard of a corner lot. The hearing will be held at the Voorheesville Village Hall at 29 Voorheesville Avenue on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM. This is a revision from the originally advertised date of Tuesday June 10, 2025.

LEGAL NOTICE
I, Patty Blackwood, the undersigned Village Clerk in and for the Village of Altamont, having received the Tax Roll & Warrant for the collection of taxes for 2025, will attend the Village Office, 115 Main Street, Altamont, NY from June 1, 2025 until July 1, 2025 Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. During the month of June, taxes are payable without penalty. A penalty of 5% (percent) will be added on all taxes remaining unpaid after July 1, 2025 and an additional 1% (percent) will be added on the first of each month thereafter. If Village taxes are not paid by November 7, 2025, the taxes will be returned to the County of Albany for Collection.
