The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Dolls Over The Years” luncheon on Wednesday, July 14, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road) beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Recommendations from the state and from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be followed.

Your reservation is necessary no later than July 9 and you must inform us of a cancelation. Please call Nancy at 518-869-0642. On the menu this month is a pulled-pork sandwich with potato salad with an alternative choice of grilled-chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only please).

Our special speaker this month is Ella Furlong from Skillman, New Jersey who will speak on “Take Time to Laugh.” Margo Taylor who will display her unique collection of dolls and speak of the various ways that she uses them. You will be able to purchase some chosen by Margo. Joe Kriss who will entertain us by singing Frank Sinatra songs.
