Thanks to all who helped with the Knox parade

To the Editor:

Despite the gloomy weather and pouring rain, the Knox Memorial Day Parade was well attended.

The Women’s Auxiliary to the Knox Fire Department wishes to thank everyone who baked for the bake sale and all who purchased the delicious goodies. The 50/50 raffle was won by a Knox resident who, in turn, donated the winnings back to our Honor Flight cause.

The flags will remain flying hopefully up to July 4th. If your flag gets tattered or worn, please call me at 872-9400 and I will replace it.

Once again, a heartfelt thank you to all.
