Harold’s family, friends, and fellow genealogists are invited

To the Editor:
The family of Harold “Hal” Miller would like to thank The Altamont Enterprise and Melissa Hale-Spencer for the lovely tribute that was written about him in its May 26 issue [From the Editor: The Return of the Native”].

We were all touched by the thoughtful words, insight into his feelings and life, and the way he felt about his hometown of Berne and the history of all the Hilltowns.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, for Harold and Ed at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Berne at 11 a.m. It will be followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon at the Saddlemire Farm on Becker Road in Knox.

All of Harold’s family, friends, and fellow genealogists are invited to both the service and celebration afterwards.
