All four Dem candidates for Guilderland Town Board will participate in forum

To the Editor:
The League of Women Voters of Albany County has agreed to organize a candidate forum for the Democratic candidates running for  the Democratic nomination for Guilderland Town Board. The forum will be on Zoom.

I am encouraging the residents to please register to watch the debate online.

There is an important primary on June 22, 2021 where for the first time the Guilderland Democratic voters, and not the party leaders, will decide on the candidates that best represent their values, positions on the issues, and their hopes for the future of Guilderland.

All four candidates have agreed to participate in the forum. In order to watch the upcoming forum, please register by using the link below.

This is the link for the community to submit questions to — which will be asked of the candidates on June 16: https://tinyurl.com/2021GuilderlandQuestions

The deadline to submit questions is June 14.

The candidates will not be given the questions in advance.

The questions should be directed at the elected office being filled, not to a particular person. They must be neutral in tone. They will be combined if duplicative. Questions will not be accepted during the forum.

The forum will be held over a Zoom webinar from 6 to 8 p.m.
