These local students at State University of New York in Oneonta have recently distinguished themselves:
 

— Madison Bini of Schenectady, attained a silver level in leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program;

— Brooke Corbett of Slingerlands, attained a silver level in leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development);

— Kathryn Johnston of Altamont, attained a silver level in leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development);

— Katelyn Mc Donough of Slingerlands, attained a platinum and gold levels in leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program;

— Anna Ciccarelli of Guilderland, competed on the 2020 in SUNY Oneonta Softball team; 

— Brooke Corbett of Bethlehem, competed on the 2020 in SUNY Oneonta Softball team; and

— Madeline Carswell of Albany, competed on the SUNY Oneonta women's tennis team during the 2019-20 year.
