Build friendships by joining Pop Warner

The Enterprise — Michael Koff

Guilderland Pop Warner cheerleaders sit inside and out of their float in the Voorheesville Memorial Day Parade as they use their pom poms to cheer to the crowds lining the parade route.

To the Editor:

Interested in joining a sport or being part of a team?

For the second year in a row, Guilderland Pop Warner Football and Cheer marched alongside other great organizations in the Voorheesville Memorial Day Parade. With appreciation for your ongoing support, GPW is encouraging all children aged 5 to 12 in neighboring towns without a program to join our growing GPW family.

Founded over 60 years ago with the purpose of organizing and encouraging youth who live in the town of Guilderland and neighboring areas, our organization strives to encourage interested youth to participate in football or cheerleading.

We strive to advance the development of many different characteristics such as honesty, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance while promoting enjoyment, entertainment, and physical and social attributes between all youth involved by building friendships.

We hope you will consider joining us for the 2019 season! To register, please visit our website at www.guilderlandpopwarner.com. For more information, please contact us by email at .

We thank you for your continued support and hope to see you on the field!
