Thank you, Dennis, thank you
To the Editor:
I became well acquainted with Dennis Sullivan some 25 years ago when he and I were part of the Voorheesville Library’s Every Other Thursday Night Poets and he was using Latin phrases in his poems.
I decided then that Dennis is so smart and so educated that he is a little scary.
That is why I was so thrilled with his column in The Altamont Enterprise on May 16 [“If we look closely at monkeys’ behavior, we’ll learn about ourselves”]; I could understand it and I loved it. I liked is so much that I just bought the Frans de Waal book (“Mama’s Last Hug”) he referenced and am anxious to read it myself.
Thank you, Dennis, thank you. That article was a definite grape.
