SUNY Oneonta Awards and achievements

These local students have been recognized with 2020 Academic Achievement Awards, at State University of New York College in Oneonta:
 

— Madison Bini of Guilderland, received an academic award from the Health and Fitness department, served as both fundraising chair and as vice president of Habitat for Humanity, vice president of Service for Alpha Phi Omega, and director of Operations for SUNY Oneonta men's and women's tennis teams. An active member of Oneonta State Emergency Service Squad (OSES), Shark Conservation Club, and Sport Management Club, and works on campus as a tour guide; and

— Leah Clifford of Altamont, received an academic award from the Psychology department, a member of Psi Chi, the international honors society in psychology, completed an internship with a local community residence for teens in her junior year, served as a teaching assistant for a research methods class in her senior year, she acts as a one-on-one aide for students with special needs and works closely with the geriatric population.
