Monday is the 60th Hilltowns Memorial Day Parade

To the Editor:
On Monday, May 30, at 10 a.m., the 60th Hilltowns Memorial Day Parade will begin in East Berne and wend its way along Route 443 to the Berne-Knox-Westerlo campus in Berne.

There will be emergency equipment, antique military vehicles, floats, antique cars, horses, and ponies.

At the BKW Elementary School, in front of the memorial, there will be the usual flag ceremonies and taps. The public is invited to enjoy the parade and attend the ceremonies. 

We are grateful to all the organizations who have made this parade happen.
