‘After the Sap’ run a sweet success

To the Editor:
We would like to thank everyone who made our “After the Sap” Run 5K a success this year. After a two-year hiatus, it was great to hold our race again.

In true community spirit, the town of Knox graciously provided its town hall for registration and the Knox Reformed Church offered the use of its parking lot. Our wonderful volunteers and Phil Carducci of White Knight Timing made the entire event go smoothly.

We would like to extend a special thank-you to members of the Knox Fire Police and Helderberg Ambulance Squad for ensuring everyone’s safety, and to Dawn and Shaun Sisson of Bittersweet Maple Farm for their very generous donation of prizes for our top winners — two pints of maple syrup in glass bottles they etched with our “Sappy” logo, which was a delightful surprise.
