Come watch the Hilltown parades

The Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs is once again sponsoring the annual Berne, Knox, Westerlo Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 30.  The parade starts at 10 a.m. in Berne.

A marching band, fire trucks, floats, marching units, horses, tractors, military vehicles, and more will be featured. The best viewing will be along Route 443 between Route 156 and the BKW school.

A traditional flag ceremony with taps will be held at the BKW school in the hamlet of Berne.

The Knox parade through the hamlet of Knox will follow at approximately 12:30 p.m. A flag ceremony with taps will also be held at the Knox Town Hall, and refreshments will be available compliments of the Knox Volunteer Fire Company at the firehouse in Knox after the ceremony.
