Guilderland Chamber holds annual awards dinner

On Thursday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m., the Guilderland chamber will celebrate local businesses and its 45th anniversary at its annual awards dinner.
The dinner features the small-business awards, the town beautification awards, and a wine and gift-card pull. Tickets to the event are $75 per person and include cocktail hour and dinner.
Award winners this year for the town awards for renovations and new buildings are the Tawasentha Pool Building, Lucky Strike Social, Sushi Tei, Remedies Wine and Spirits, and Mill Hollow Apartments. Businesses receiving the Chamber awards are Fenimore Asset Management, Marshall Price DDS, and the Guilderland Food Pantry.
Individuals receiving recognition for their efforts for business and community are Cindy Wadach, Jennifer Smith from Crossgates Mall, and a posthumous award given to the family of John Foley from John Foley’s Garage.
The theme for the 45th anniversary is Back to the Future, with a slide show of the past years and a look to the future of the chamber with the board-of-directors elections and the search for a new leader.
The dinner is open to all; come meet your local businesses and elected officials!
