Poisoned ink

To the Editor:

There are so many good letter writers with good intentions that it bothers me that one in particular who does not possess these qualities is constantly harassing the town board in Berne. This writer must have forgotten that he is also a member of that board, voted in by the same people of the town.

Why tear down and split a town apart when you can put your efforts toward solving problems in concert with your other board members? Almost week after week, readers read these letters written with so much hate that you would think that someone must have tainted your ink well with poison.

Come on, man up and do what you were voted in to do, be a good contributing member of the community and the town board. The voters will appreciate those efforts.
