Born June 2, 1958 in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Frances (née Welsch) Tanner. She was raised in Altamont, attended Altamont Elementary School, and graduated from Guilderland High School in 1976.

“A devoted homemaker, Julie dedicated her time and heart to raising her three daughters in addition to working for Pat & Co, in Delanson,” her family wrote. “She had retired early to spend time with her grandchildren and her husband.

“Julie and her beloved husband, Scott, shared a passion for motorcycles and were active members of the riding community. Together, they found joy on the open road, often taking part in charity rides to raise funds and support for those in need. She enjoyed volunteering for the Harley Rendezvous for many years. Julie’s kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her.”
