Mary Ellen Johnson has done a great service to Guilderland
To the Editor:
I’m writing to compliment Mary Ellen Johnson on her recent series of articles about Guilderland Center and French’s Hollow.
As a former property owner on French’s Hollow Road, I enjoyed my many walks down to the hollow to sit and watch the falls at various times of the year and to watch the trains rumbling over the trestle. This is one of the town’s lesser-known treasures, both for its historical interest and its beauty.
Ms. Johnson has done a great service to the town of Guilderland with her well-researched articles, as well as her years of work with the Guilderland Historical Society.
