Vote for BKW’s unsung hero

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter as an endorsement of Marie Lounsbury for Berne-Knox-Westerlo School Board.

I want to state emphatically: Nobody knows the needs of BKW more than Marie Lounsbury. She has been a part of the school for many years and has dedicated her life to the children of our community.

Marie was there for me 100 percent as my sixth-grade teacher, always encouraging my intellectual and social learning. She was the only teacher who successfully interrupted horrible bullying that I experienced at BKW.

She was the first person to show up at our door when my mom died. Marie's brilliance shines in everything she does. I believe her many years of experience as a teacher and former school board member combined with her vision for the future makes her the best candidate.

Please get out and vote for BKW’s unsung hero.
