DUNNSVILLE.
A committee of Guiderland people went to Albany Tuesday morning and had an interview with State Commissioner of Highways Frederick Stuart Greene, in the interest of the Great Western turnpike as a concrete state highway. The advantages of this route were shown to the Commissioner as opening up a rich farming country, as well as a great trucking line and its benefits as a military road to the west. The Commissioner was greatly impressed with the importance of this route, and he is intensely interested in its construction as a 16-foot concrete road. The Commissioner told the committee that he would build this road in 1921 provided he could get contractors to take the contract.

VILLAGE NOTES.
St. Lucy’s chapel is being re-painted by F. S. Lape, who is having some of his painters working on the building this week. The church was quite badly in need of paint, as it had not been painted in several years. The last time the chapel was painted the work was done by the late George J. Hallenbeck.
HOLDUP MEN LOOT STORE AT DELMAR
Two men armed with revolvers last Saturday night entered the Delmar Cooperative store in Delmar, held up the manager, Leonard Sharp, and robbed him of $80. They left the store and boarded a high powered automobile and sped south.
An hour later Albany police headquarters learned the car had been abandoned by the 2 men in Kenwood. Two caps, a raincoat and other wearing apparel may lead the police to the arrest of the two men. It is believed the men stole the automobile.
