Portion of rail trail closed for bridge work

The Albany County Rail Trail near the Bender Melon Farm Preserve Bridge in New Scotland between Hilton Road and Upper Font Grove Road is closed through Tuesday, April 30.

NEW SCOTLAND — The Albany County Rail Trail near the Bender Melon Farm Preserve Bridge in New Scotland is closed through Tuesday, April 30, because the bridge is being upgraded.

This is the area between Hilton Road and Upper Font Grove Road.

Working hours will be 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each weekday, according to a release from the Albany County Department of Public Works.

Partial closures of the rail trail are expected after that until May 17.
