‘Creating Spring Sunshine’

The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Creating Spring Sunshine” luncheon on Wednesday, April 14, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road), beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. COVID-19 recommendations from the state and from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be followed.

Your reservation is necessary no later than April 9 and you must let us know if you cancel. Please call Nancy at 518-869-0642 or Carol at 518-869-5253 for reservations. On the menu this month is meat lasagna with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only please).

Our special speaker this month is Mary Elsasser, from Schenectady, who will talk on the topic: “The Shadows are as Important as the Light.” Our special feature will be Bill Frank, director of the Schenectady County Veteran Services Agency, who will speak about the Veterans Administration and the National Cemetery Association.

Special music will be provided by Kevin Carlson from Schenectady who will entertain us with song and keyboard.
