PTA plans Village-Wide Garage Sale

ALTAMONT — On Saturday, May 6, the Altamont PTA will hold the Albany area’s largest annual community sale. Sales will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the entire area.

All proceeds will benefit the students of Altamont Elementary School through Parent Teacher Association programs.

Reservation forms for residents holding sales that day are available at Village Hall, the Altamont Free Library, Main Street Café, and Stewart’s Shop. Email with any questions or for further information.

Registration forms are due by April 26.

The cost to participate is $20, which includes all advertising and maps done by the PTA.

The May 6 event will take place rain or shine. Shoppers may stop by the library, firehouse, or Stewart’s to pick up a map that outlines where our participating sales are located and a description of items each has for sale. Maps will be available beginning after 4 p.m. on Friday, May 5, as well as the morning of the sale.
