Members of the Pony Pals 4-H Club are ready to serve at Saturday’s pancake breakfast.

To the Editor:

The Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs would like to thank everyone who was part of this year’s Maple Festival and Pancake Breakfast.

We appreciate the generosity of the maple producers who donated syrup and hosted tours of their facilities: Randy and Sally Grippin of Mountain Winds Farm, Brian and Kathy Whipple of Malachi Farm, and Paul and Bernadette Lounsbury.

Thanks to Sue Mason for providing her petting zoo and pony rides. We also want to thank the Pony Pals 4-H Club members and their moms who so capably served the meals, and Stewart’s Shops for its donation of ice cream to top them off.

And we are especially grateful to all the people in and beyond our community who came out to support this important fundraiser.  Our thanks to all of you!
