Wanted: Volunteer to serve as NSHA secretary

To the Editor:

The New Scotland Historical Association is seeking a volunteer to serve as its recording secretary.

The recording secretary’s duties are to keep the minutes of the meetings of the association and of the board of trustees, and a record of all amendments to NSHA’s constitution and bylaws approved by the membership. This is a two-year term.

At this time, the board meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Wyman Osterhout Community Center in New Salem. The general membership meeting is held annually in May at the same location. 

The Town of New Scotland Historical Association is dedicated to the preserving, protecting, and promoting town history through promoting an appreciation of local history and through providing research, publications, and educational programs.
