Hurrah for our libraries and their many services and programs

To the Editor:

In answer to Joe Burke’s question in his Library Notes column of March 20, 2025 — yes, this page is terrific!

I want to say hurrah and thank-you to The Altamont Enterprise for devoting two full pages each week to Library Notes.

My home library is Guilderland, but I enjoy reading about what is going on in all the libraries. Sandra Kisselback in Berne always has a unique and clever way of reporting. And it is nice to see our Guilderland news reported by Pete Petruski.

During Covid I missed the library more than any other place. I no longer take it for granted, and am grateful for all the many services and programs, not to mention books provided by my library.
