— The scarlet fever patients in the village reported to be improving.

— Simon Winne of New Salem was in the village on Wednesday and took home a fine set of custom made single harness, the product of Charles V. Beebe’s harness shop. The harness is an exceptionally fine one, with solid nickel trimmings.

— The storm Wednesday added about eight inches of snow to the already large supply on hand. The wind did the rest. Well, we’ve gotten so that we don’t mind sleeping with a snow shovel.
