We all need to do our part

To the Editor:

After consulting with our trustees, I have determined that we need to be prudent and cancel the Guilderland Historical Society meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 19. 

We will work to reschedule our speaker, Tom Allison, on Albany architect Phillip Hooker.

We all need to do our part to slow the transmission of COVID-19 by avoiding situations where groups gather in close quarters.

An additional consideration is that many of our members are seniors who are considered to be at higher risk with this virus.
