BETHLEHEM — Community Care Physicians consolidated its Delmar Urgent Care Center, at 250 Delaware Ave. in Delmar, with its nearby Urgent Care Center of Albany on March 1.

This allows CCP to focus on “developing key Urgent Care locations in Albany and Latham and to expand its walk-in and extended hours in its primary care locations,” according to a release from the company.

Community Care Physicians offers urgent-care services in Albany during the day, evenings, weekends and holidays at 391 Myrtle Avenue, 4th Floor, Suite 4D, across from Albany Medical Center’s emergency room.

Albany Urgent Care treats patients of all ages, starting at 3 months old, regardless of where patients live and who patients normally see for medical care.

The facility is staffed by board-certified family physicians, certified physician assistants, or nurse practitioners, and accepts most major insurances.

Using CCP’s Urgent Care Centers can help save the time and cost of an emergency-room visit, the release said.

The physician-owned, physician-run organization employs more than 1,800 people in over 70 practices in Albany, Columbia, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Warren counties.
