ACT grant deadline extended

To the Editor:

Please note that the deadline for the Altamont Community Tradition 2020 Call for Community Grant Applications has been extended until March 15.

Funded by revenues raised during the Victorian Holidays and other generous donations, these small grants (up to $500) are donated to projects of local not-for-profit organizations that align with ACT’s mission of historic preservation and strengthening the village community through engaging activities.

The deadline for applications is now March 15. Successful applicants will be notified by April 15.

In the past, ACT has supported the Altamont Archives, Museum in the Streets, and historic renovations to the Masonic Hall. In 2019, ACT donated to the Altamont Free Library, the Altamont Fair history project, and the Reformed Church community dinner.

The Community Grant Application and guidelines are available online at altamontcommunitytradition.org/community-grant-program.

Please feel free to contact us with questions at altamontcommunitytradition@yahoo.com.
