NEW SCOTLAND — Nominating petitions are available for the position of trustee for the Voorheesville Public Library Board to fill the vacancy caused by the expiration of the term of Janna Shillinglaw.

The election will be held on Tuesday, May 16, and the candidate elected will serve a five-year term, beginning July 1. Petitions may be obtained in the library and must be returned by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 17, with a minimum of 25 signatures.  Candidates must be a qualified voter of the Voorheesville Central School District.
