To the Editor:

Hi, you there! There’s a lot of stuff that I want to be illegal but one of them is — littering!

One of the reasons that littering should be illegal is it makes nature ugly. One time I went to Thacher Park and I saw a bag of chips, cigarette butts, and an empty six-pack and this made me mad because, instead of seeing beautiful views, I saw garbage. On. The. Ground!

Another reason why littering should be illegal is it can hurt animals! What if an animal eats a piece of garbage or chokes on it and that animal gets sick or could even die?

The last, but not least reason, why littering should be illegal is it can get babies sick. I have a 2-year-old brother and at parks he will eat used gum that he finds on the ground! He really will!

As you can clearly see, littering should be illegal! You can also clearly see how wrong littering can be. It can hurt animals and people!
