Museums tell us who we are, who we have been

To the Editor:

At holiday time this past year, as I usually do, I traveled from my west coast home to Westerlo, where I grew up and have many ties and my childhood home.

I am a great fan and supporter of museums. Indeed I have visited them from Easter Island to Johannesburg RSA to, of course, Westerlo. Museums tell us who we are, who we have been, and help us to be proud. They also have unique gift offerings.

This year, when I visited the Westerlo Heritage Museum, I had an amazing experience. Mary Jane Araldi, curator, has found a way to make longitude and latitude exciting! Visit, support the museum, and share my experience. It was fun.
