These local students have recently distinguished themselves:
 

— Elias Assimakopoulos of Schenectady, at State University of New York Potsdam, interns with Music Industry at 2020 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show in Anaheim, California; and

— Nanaka Suzuki, of Slingerlands, at Hamilton College was awarded a grant from The Steven Daniel Smallen Memorial Fund.
