To the Editor:

The following is brief and to the point. Whether anyone agrees with me or not is immaterial.

Speaking as a former Democrat, I can only say that the present Democratic Party is gradually destroying what was once a viable, functional party, both state and federal.

Take a look at most recent legislature positions, both state and federal — two states as an example, New York and California, both under Democratic control.
