Learn about Army depot in World War II

To the Editor:

You are cordially invited to attend the first 2025 meeting of the Guilderland Historical Society.

This meeting will be held at the Guilderland Public Library in the Helderberg Room on Feb. 20. The business portion of the meeting will begin at 1:15 p.m.

At 2 p.m., our featured presenter will be Mary Ellen Johnson, Guilderland town historian, who will make a presentation on the varied activities of the Army depot in World War II. This is now the current location of the Northeastern Industrial Park.

Highlighting her talk will be recollections of people who actually worked there during World War II.

Also presenting will be Don Rittner who will bring us up to speed on the activities of the REV250 committee.

Again, please feel free to join us. We have a very active 2025 planned.
