‘The Local Story of Beer’ on tap at historical society meeting

“Colonial to Craft Brew: The Local Story of Beer” will be the presentation on tap at the Guilderland Historical Society’s Thursday, Feb. 20, meeting. Presented by Michael Diana, the Schenectady County Historical Society’s Programs and Education manager, the program will show how agriculture, transportation, technology, politics, and social issues have all played a part in beer’s history.

The public is invited to this free program at 7:30 p.m. at the Mynderse-Frederick House at 451 Route 146 in Guilderland Center. Refreshments and a social hour will follow the program. For information, call 518-861-8582.
