State University of New York College at Oneonta has announced local students with awards and achievements for the fall 2019 semester.

The following local students were among the 36 inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa, National Leadership Honor Society:

— Brooke Corbett of Bethlehem;

— Christopher Wertman of Altamont;

— Katelyn McDonough of Guilderland; and

— Sean Nolan of Altamont.

One local student, Jason Briscoe of Delmar, is one of  the 12 students who recently spent a week-and-a-half in California developing their field mapping skills and putting them to use in the desert and beyond.
