ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
ELECTRONIC SIGNBOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to a decision of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Knox Fire District in the Town of Knox, Albany County, New York, sealed bids for a new electronic signboard for the Knox Fire Station will be received by the Board of Fire Commissioners at the Knox Fire Station located at 2198 Berne Altamont Road, located in the Town of Knox, Albany County, New York until 7:00pm on February 14, 2017, at which time they will be publically opened and read aloud.
Bids will be submitted in a sealed envelope and may either be delivered between 6:00 and 7:00 pm as noted above or mailed to: ATTENTION: Frank Fuss, Knox Fire District, PO Box 3, Knox, NY 12107 and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder along with the verbiage “Sealed Bid.”.
The item to be bid shall comply with the specifications adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners.
These specifications are available in either written or electronic form to any interested bidder by contacting the Secretary of the Knox Fire District, Frank Fuss at either (518) 861-8960 or at .
The contract for purchase where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Board of Fire Commissioners may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right, however, to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Knox Fire District.
All bids shall contain such statements, resolutions, affidavits, certificates and other assurances as are or may be required under the laws of the State of New York affecting fire district purchases, including the non-collusion certificate required by the General Municipal Law.
