A two-hour wait in the cold for COVID test

The line to get inside Crossgates Mall to the state’s COVID-19 testing site on Jan. 5 took about two hours.

To the Editor:

I’m writing to let you know that I tried to get a test at Crossgates today [Jan. 5], but when I got here I found they had sick people lined up outdoors who had been waiting over an hour and they all had an appointment.

I was not going to do that because I'm sick enough as it is.

You will see that the line goes over to the orange umbrellas. People I talked to were half way and were waiting over an hour for their appointment, so it’s probably a two-hour wait in the cold.

They could easily queue inside and go in the inside entrance to the old Ruby Tuesday’s.

Pyramid should be ashamed of themselves for either allowing this or worse requiring it.
