On Friday evening, Jan16, Guilderland's Tyler Witazek was honored prior to their game against Averill Park with a 1,000-point basketball after earning it on Tuesday at CBA. Witazek is the fourth Guilderland Boys player to score 1,000-points in school history.

On Wednesday, Feb 15, Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy presented two former BKW employees with Citizens of the Month with their work with the 1,000 books program at the school.
