Voorheesville Middle School

Rogers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” will be performed by over 65 middle school students at the Lydia C. Tobler Performing Arts Center at Clayton A. Bouton High School on Nov. 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. and on Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and free for seniors.

Scores of Voorheesville Middle School students are involved in the production of “Guys and Dolls Jr.,” which will play at the Lydia Tobler Performing Arts Center at Clayton A. Bouton High School on Route 85A in New Scotland Nov. 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.

“The Music Man Jr.” will play at the Lydia Tobler Performing Arts Center in Vorheesville this weekend.

Administrators hope to find a way to have five regular class sections rather than four for a class of 102, after parents requested the section for a third year, according to Voorheesville Superintendent Brian Hunt.

One seventh-grader, Gabrielle Dowd, is a finalist in a national essay contest for her work eliminating Styrofoam from school cafeterias.
