NEW SCOTLAND — The Albany County Recreation Department will host a free baseball summer camp that will provide kids a way to learn the game or improve their skills.

The camp is open to all county youth ages 7 to 13, and all equipment except for baseball gloves will be provided.

The Voorheesville Youth Baseball League, which once went without a home field, celebrated its newly renovated field in Swift Road Park.
