Public will wrestle with Guilderland Center’s future

GUILDERLAND  — As part of the process to develop a neighborhood master plan for Guilderland Center, a public workshop will be held for the community today, Sept. 24.

GUILDERLAND — Before the tentative town budget for next year has been filed, the process for building and reviewing it is being questioned.

GUILDERLAND — Democratic Supervisor Kenneth Runion has drafted a $30 million tentative budget for next year that he says won’t raise taxes.

GUILDERLAND — After arresting a man at Crossgates Mall for touching a woman’s buttocks, Guilderland Police are asking anyone who has witnessed such behavior at the mall, or been a victim of it, to call the police department.

GUILDERLAND — Last month, Latham contractors Bette and Cring filed a lien against Brandle Meadows, Jeff Thomas’s senior housing complex, for non-payment of over $2 million.

GUILDERLAND — The results of Tuesday’s Conservative and Independence party primaries in Guilderland are in, and the Democratic incumbent candidates for town board and town judge won by large margins.

GUILDERLAND — A lien for over $2 million has been filed against Brandle Meadows by its builder. Jeff Thomas is developing the senior housing complex, which is two-thirds complete.
