BERNE — For the second straight year, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, which often has had unopposed races for its school board, has four candidates running.





VOORHEESVILLE – believes that he can make a difference.
He understands how to be a "good team player and make good budget decisions that are good for everyone," he said.




VOORHEESVILLE – says, "The school board is there for the school, and to be a voice for the taxpayer." It is not a conduit for any personal goals, he said, adding that votes and actions should be done impartially for the district.




VOORHEESVILLE – Timothy Blow says it’s time to be a part of the school’s decision-making process, instead of just complaining about it.
"I’ve always been on the outside, interested," Blow said. He is unhappy with some of the decisions that have been made in recent years, he said.
