Albany County has been declared eligible for Farm Service Agency disaster emergency loan assistance effective July 12, for damages and losses caused by the severe winter storm named Stella on March 14 and 15.

Municipalities in 28 counties across New York State, including Albany County, would be reimbursed for money they spent coping with Winter Storm Stella.

Towns and even school districts are vying for reimbursement for recent storm damage from the federal government.
