The new First Robotics team at Voorheesville's high school achieved the highest rookie seed in the qualifying rounds of the Tech Valley First regional championship on March 18 and 19 in Troy.

With a $10,000 grant, the Clayton A. Bouton High School will build its first robotics team and compete in March.
