Public comments will be accepted through July 21 on proposed revisions by the Department of Environmental Conservation to the state’s Solid Waste Management Regulations, commonly known as Part 360.

KNOX — The questions were big — what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to living in Knox? — but the crowd was not. In this rural town of 2,700, about 18 men and women sat in small groups to discuss issues that would shape how the Knox comprehensive plan would be modified.

A survey on the 2014-15 budget should be submitted by March 5 for the budget advisory committee to review. It will remain open online until March 10, when school board members meet next to discuss the budget.
