David Albright told The Enterprise that he was 8 and riding on his yellow banana-seat bike in April 1972 when he and his friend saw a plane flying very low — just 300 to 500 feet off the ground — and stopped to stare at it. The pilot saw them too, Albright said, and waved. 

Noah Khoury uses his blacksmithing skills to make useful and beautiful items. He also teaches blacksmithing to kids at the Heldeberg Workshop each summer.

ALBANY COUNTY — Another project bringing power from the North to New York City will be cutting through Albany County as early as next year — this time, underground.

A next-generation artist, Kris Hauser, has honored one of the founding mothers of the Heldeberg Workshop, Jean Johnson, with a sculpture of her iconic emblem, now rooted on the land.
