GUILDERLAND — After long-time Supervisor Kenneth Runion announced last month that he would not be seeking re-election in the fall, notable town Democrats scrambled for the party’s nod.
With a new chair on the Albany County Democratic Committee and rumblings over progressive factions being earlier shut out, Knox's town clerk stands out on the executive committee.
Many of the candidates are incumbents — Kenneth Runion for supervisor, Paul Pastore and Patricia Slavick for town board, and Denise Randall for town justice.
