Photos: Blackbirds Soar to Quarters, Fall To Red Raiders

Last Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Voorheesville boys’ soccer team kicked off their Section 2, Class B sectional run, as the sixth seed, by playing against Taconic Hills. The Birds sprinted past the Titans 7 to 0, then fell, 2 to 1, to Mechanicville on Saturday.

Quarterfinals loss for Voorheesville ends season

For the second year in a row, the Blackbirds were halted by Ichabod Crane in the boys' soccer match. This time, they took a goal, ending the game 2-to-1.
